Immersed in Webquest

I still wish I could get such a practical course later as well. I must take this opportunity to acknowledge our instructor Robert Elliot for his kind support, Webskills team of Oregon and my colleagues for their wonderful sharing.  I must share this because of this course, I could make my conference sessions more live and being impressed from my session, I have been called to give one more session in Kathmandu University, School of Education, one of the largest universities of Nepal this Monday. The credit goes to you all. Thanks.

So far the techno-tools are concerned, the most successful out of all are webquest and blog. The children could engage in PBL while going through webquest and blog.it is again webquest which led us to organize language and literature exhibition in our school. It was the first ever language and literature exhibition in the history of our school. We could successfully show how linguistic and literary aspects can be exhibited. Now our plan is to perpetuate this legacy.

In the coming session, I have planned to use nicenet, wikis and Lauri’s EFL lab. Nicenet can be the best platform to make them participate in virtual discussion and wiki can be the tool where I can attach different links. Besides these, Lauri’s EFL lab can be used to develop the skills and aspects of language.

I haven’t exploited technology much for the classroom instruction but planning. I believe the right selection of techno-tool can solve motivational problem on one hand and on the other, it is walking along with the time updating oneself.
